Yes, this is a troll Tumblr, congratulations. This was a day long joke made by two bisexual teenagers. Therefore, we are for gay rights. Ana is a made up character my friend & I used to symbolize close minded people in our society today. Not all people like gays, & some of those people believe in God, but that doesn’t always make them horrible human beings. People who are for gay rights, but absolutely hate those Christians who believe in God with all their heart, believe it or not, are closed-minded, too, but from a different point of view. Personally, I do not believe in God, but some people do. I’m for gay rights, & some people aren’t. We all have different views & we all need to accept that. 

Now, you’re probably thinking, “Wow, dicks. You took this way too far.” Yes & no. We did not start receiving asks until we made a post about Kristen Stewart being a lesbian. It was a tiny post that only received about 20 notes, but the reblogs with added comments really hit us. Multiple times Ana was called a cunt. Maybe she doesn’t like gays, & loves Twilight, that doesn’t make her a cunt, along with all the other comments made. At this point, Ana was innocent. 12 years old & made a small post about a movie she loved. She never stated that she “hates” gays until later on, but her About stated that she found gays “ewwwww.” Some very nasty things were said. My friend & I decided that we would stay clean until lines were crossed. By that we mean, once we were told to go die, it was free game to say it back. Along with the N word & many other derogatory terms used during this experiment. We weren’t blatantly running around calling people devil worshipers & niggers for the hell of it.

It was amusing to see how many people took the time to type paragraphs to us expressing their views on Christians & anti LGBTQ+ supporters. It’s nice to know that people care & support gays, but there has to be a better way to express that. By reacting like this, we are giving gays/lesbians a really bad reputation. 

It hurts reading this stuff, even if we don’t share the same views as Ana. Ana was told to kill herself multiple times, she received death threats, she was even told that she was going to get raped & beaten. That drew the line & we knew it was time to let the joke go. As two young girls with histories of bullying, self harm, suicide attempts & sexual assault, it’s hard to believe one human being would wish these things on another, having gone through them ourselves. 

Again, I do not believe in God, but that doesn’t mean we should hate people that do, but there has to be another way, or we’re just as close minded as them. We apologize to anyone who was upset by this, it was just an experiment, nothing was meant, you all are beautiful, remember that. At this point, we’d still like to remain anonymous, but we hope this opens your eyes. Thank you.
